Tracey Giannola

Tracey discovered her love for barre in 2014 after taking her first class at a studio in Metro Detroit. She was instantly drawn to the low-impact yet highly effective workout—exactly what she needed after a hip injury from half marathon training. After a few years as a student, she stepped into teaching in 2017 with The Dailey Method in Grand Rapids, MI, where she taught barre for three years before moving back to her hometown of St. Joseph, MI.

With limited barre studios in the area, Tracey completed her Barre Intensity certification to deepen her knowledge and expand her teaching style. She also holds a Pre/Postnatal Barre Intensity certification, which allows her to confidently support students through every stage of life. She loves the creativity Barre Intensity brings to class formats and choreography, and how every class delivers a total-body workout in under an hour.

Today, Tracey teaches Total Body Barre at the Renaissance Athletic Club and works as a health and nutrition coach with The Balanced Way Nutrition, helping clients build balanced, sustainable lifestyles. She and her husband live in Southwest Michigan with their two dogs and are excitedly expecting their first child, a baby girl, in late September 2025.

Tracey is passionate about empowering others through movement and wellness and can’t wait to see you in class—virtually or in person!
