Jaida, originally from Tupelo, MS, discovered her love for barre in 2017 while attending Mississippi State University and began her journey at Pure Barre Starkville. She became Pure Barre trained in 2018 and has spent the past eight years both teaching and taking classes. Now, Jaida is teaming up with her best friend Shelby to bring their shared passion to the Gulf Coast as the owners of Elevate 228, a new barre studio in Ocean Springs. Together, they’re excited to create a welcoming space that celebrates strength, community, and connection through barre.
