Rachel started her journey into Group Fitness while in undergrad. Having majored in Dance Performance and Choreography, Rachel sought out a cross training method that could help her stay fit and healthy. She was inspired to start teaching group fitness. Rachel has a group fitness instructor certification and personal trainer certification through ACE (American Council on Exercise). She began her career at O2 Fitness Clubs and now has worked at various YMCA’s including in Florida and in North Carolina. Rachel is currently a Healthy Living Director at her local YMCA where she teaches barre, senior fitness, strength, and conditioning classes as well as manages Group Fitness and wellness programming. Each day Rachel works to inspire staff and members to reach their fitness goals. Rachel is so passionate about sharing her love of fitness with the class members she meets and also helping everyone of all skill levels have a great fitness experience.
