I’m Montse Segura! For most of my life, movement and exercise were not a big part of my routine. I was a very sedentary person, and I never imagined that one day movement would become such an important part of my life.
About two and a half years ago, I discovered barre, and I immediately fell in love with it. What started as simply trying a new workout quickly became so much more than that. Barre completely changed the way I see movement, my body, and most importantly, myself. It taught me that exercise can be both challenging and enjoyable, and that becoming stronger can be a beautiful journey.
What I love most about barre is the way it brings together strength, control, balance, and mindful movement. Every class is an opportunity to challenge yourself, connect with your body, and leave feeling stronger from the inside out.
Becoming a barre instructor feels especially meaningful to me because I know what it is like to go from barely moving to genuinely loving movement. My goal is to create classes where everyone feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged to work at their own pace, while still being challenged to discover what they are capable of.
I hope every person who takes my class leaves feeling stronger, more confident, and proud of themselves — and maybe even a little more in love with movement than when they walked in.
