Carmen Craft

Carmen Craft has been dancing since the age of three and with Mt. Zion School of Performing Arts since the age of eight.  Her extensive training includes studying with Ballet Magnificat, Marygrove College, Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway and Alvin Ailey in New York City, and she has received intensive training with internationally renowned ballet master and choreographer Iacob Lascu.

She was a founding member of the award winning MZSPA competition team, where she currently instructs advanced ballet and choreographs for the competition jazz/contemporary groups.  Over the years, she has instructed students of all ages in multiple styles of dance.  Carmen has also choreographed a full-length production of The Sound of Music through Oakland Homeschool Music Incorporated.

Carmen is a graduate of Oakland University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and is a proud member of Pure Existence, a professional dance company in Ann Arbor, under the direction of Jodie Randolph.

Carmen is happy to take her love of dance and incorporate in to the fitness industry as a Barre Intensity and Zumba instructor. You will always find creative choreography when attending one of Carmen’s classes.
