Sarah Lewis

Sarah’s lifelong passion for fitness began as a young child playing sports and dancing. While attending Western Illinois University for her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, she began teaching group fitness classes. Her passion was ignited when she could see the impact group fitness classes had on individual’s lives. After obtaining her Master’s degree in Health and Exercise Science, she became the Group Fitness Coordinator at the University of Nebraska. This position allows her to develop new instructors and foster healthy lifestyle habits in college students and faculty staff members. Her fitness philosophy encompasses empowering people to feel confident and successful during every workout. As an ACE Group Fitness Instructor and ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist, she teaches a wide variety of fitness formats. Outside of fitness, she stays busy traveling, paddle boarding and visiting Nebraska wineries.
