AnnaChrista Mitisek

As a former dancer, barre always intrigued me.  Following my 5th abdominal surgery and 8th all around surgery, barre was suggested as part of my rehab.  After my first class it was as if my body said "Why haven't we been doing this all along?" I fell in love instantly and knew this was going to be my passion.  I have three daughters and a husband who travels extensively for work so as a part-time-single mom, I need something that is *mine* and I find that home is at the barre.

I adore teaching, its what I went to university for and have half my master's degree in.  Now that my daughters are all in school full time, I am excited to blend my love for teaching and my enthusiasm for barre fitness.  Please join me at one of my studio classes or take advantage of my mobile barre services.  Check my website www.BarreBesties.com and Meet Me At The Barre!!!

Mica O'Dell

Mica started her career in the fitness industry at the age of 16.  She was an athlete growing up and group fitness was just another way to keep her moving.  She fell in love with group fitness as a participant and then received her first certification so she could be an intern instructor.  She quickly learned the amount of outside work and practice that went in to teaching classes but also learned that the reward was worth it.  Making a positive impact on the lives of participants filled her heart with joy.

Shawna Baker

Movement has always been a part of Shawna's life, growing up she was a cheerleader and then she found her passion for dance. She danced on her high school dance line and then with worship dance teams after graduation. Shawna was honored to choreograph most of the pieces during her time on her West Virginia worship dance team, allowing her to find her voice through movement. Then she moved into modern dance when she joined a worship dance team in San Diego.

After she stopped dancing Shawna fell in love with ballet-based barre workouts after searching for a way to stay active after a cross-country move to San Diego in 2007. Shawna spent 6 years at the barre as a client, enjoying the mix of cardio & sculpting each class had to offer! A 2013 move back to the East Coast prompted her to follow her dreams and open a barre franchise of her own to share her love of barre with others. It was during this time Shawna realized her love of being in the studio, teaching and educating others.
